Dundee United to review security in Jerry Kerr Stand following derby
ByIan Roache
Dundee United are reviewing their security in the Jerry Kerr Stand following Sunday’s derby.
Manager Mixu Paatelainen complained about the stewarding in that area of Tannadice after claiming he was verbally abused by Dundee fans, who were seated above the United dugout area.
The club will now look at keeping the first few rows of that stand empty, with the then vacant section roped off.
The hope is that by pushing supporters back a few rows that will make it more difficult for them to get close to the barrier that runs along the front of the stand.
