Thorntons enters top 10 in Chambers UK Legal Directory

Leading Tayside law firm Thorntons has been named one of the country’s top-performing legal companies in a UK-wide industry report.

Thorntons received a glowing report in this year’s Chambers UK Legal Directory, which highlights the work of the UK’s finest law firms.

It took eighth place in the rundown of 300 small to medium-sized legal firms in the UK, up 33 places from last year.

The firm won praise for the range of services it provides to clients across Tayside, including personal injury, family law and agriculture.

In all, Thorntons achieved nine separate rankings for the work it carries out across its Dundee, Montrose, Forfar and Arbroath offices, with one client branding the team “very good and very efficient”.

The directory also stated that the firm “strikes the right balance between being a welcoming, service-oriented business with professional competence”.

Joint managing partner Scott Milne said: “The excellent rankings we have achieved in this year’s Chambers UK Legal Directory are testament to all the hard work and dedication of the entire Thorntons team.

“We always strive to provide the best service we can to our clients, and it fills us with great pride to see this paying dividends.”

The Chambers UK Legal Directory is published yearly and is based on feedback and recommendations from clients and peers.
