Court bans mum from contacting daughter at Christmas
ByThe Courier Reporter
A mother has been banned from seeing her daughter over the festive period after being accused of launching an assault on the 12-year-old.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied the charge when she appeared from custody at Perth Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Lindsay Foulis granted her bail on the condition she does not contact her daughter.
It is alleged that on December 15 in a car parked at St Catherine’s retail park the woman slapped the child’s legs, punched and scratched her before grabbing her by the hair and hitting her head of various surfaces in the car.
