But for one family in Douglas, Santa has made an early and unconventional appearance by crashing a Nissan Micra into their garden. Police in Dundee say Santa or at least someone dressed up as him crashed into a garden in Ballindean Road near the junction with Balunie Avenue. Officers say he is likely to have been injured.
