The counterfeit Royal Bank of Scotland notes were seized from two properties in Glasgow and a third in Ayrshire. Detectives searched the addresses in Queens Crescent and Mavisbank Gardens, Glasgow and in Ardfin Road, Prestwick on Monday and Tuesday. They arrested two men aged 35 and 39 and a 43-year-old woman who are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today in connection with the find. Police Scotland advised people to check notes they receive carefully and call 101 if they suspect a fake.
