Brave Kirkcaldy schoolboys tackle thief who grabbed their mobile phone

Two schoolboys fought back after they were robbed of a mobile phone in Kirkcaldy.
The boys were in Overton Road at around 12.30pm on Tuesday when the thief pounced and made off with the phone.
However, the pair chased him and were able to get it back.
Detective Sergeant Neil McKenzie said: “The two victims bravely chased after the man and tackled him, managing to get the phone back, before he ran off again.
“The boys were left shaken and frightened by this incident and I would appeal for anyone who witnessed it, or recognises the description of the thief, to contact police.”Do you know the boys involved? Get in touch with The Courier at news@thecourier.co.uk or phone 01382 575503The man was in his late 20s to early 30s, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in and of medium build with ginger stubble, short reddish hair and grey streaks running through it.
He was wearing grey jogging bottoms, a grey puffa-style jacket or body warmer with a black hooded top underneath.
