St Johnstone’s dire recent record in Inverness won’t be a burden for today’s clash with Caley Thistle, defender Tam Scobbie has insisted. Saints have lost their last four matches against ICT in the Highlands and drawn the previous two. But those statistics don’t concern Scobbie. He pointed out: “Inverness is a tough place to go. We have found it a difficult place in the last few trips but we aren’t alone. “But it’s not something we will be giving any thought to come game time. “I’m not someone who reads too much into past results. It won’t be playing on our minds. “We go up there confident and looking to win the game. It’s one we are looking forward to.”
