Perthshire provides the backdrop for Scottish Nature Photography Festival

The Scottish Nature Photography Festival took place in the Perthshire countryside at the weekend.

A line-up of inspiring speakers from throughout the UK and Europe travelled to Scottish Natural Heritage’s Battleby Centre to take part.

They included Skye-based photographer Marcus McAdam, who opened the festival.

Mr McAdam was joined by a number of top award-winning photographers including Highlands-based Mark Hamblin, Nick Cobbing, Bertie Gregory, Sven Zacek, who is based in Estonia, and Edwin Kats from the Netherlands, who presented Making the Most of Your Backyard Photographing Wildlife on Your Local Patch.
