One of the co-founders of Graham & Sibbald Chartered Surveyors, WAM (Sandy) Graham, has died at the age of 90 after a battle with illness.
Born in India in 1924, Mr Graham was educated at George Watson’s College in Edinburgh and Robert Gordon’s College in Aberdeen.
He served in the South Pacific with the Royal Navy during the Second World War before joining the District Valuers office in Aberdeen.
Following a transfer to Dundee, he joined forces with Greig Sibbald in 1959 to form Graham & Sibbald, which has since become one of the country’s top firms.
He was a member of Royal Aberdeen, Nairn, Blairgowrie, Panmure and the Royal and Ancient golf clubs and played with some success, securing the Angus County Golf Championship in 1957.
Married in 1951 to Frances, a doctor, Mr Graham set up home in Dundee.
He is survived by his son Stuart and grandchildren Keith and Susan.
