Luncarty is planning a scarecrow hunt, but one has gone missing already.
The parent council of Luncarty Primary School have organised a fun fundraising scarecrow festival for Saturday September 28, from 10.30am-3.30pm.
More than 65 pupils, parents, teachers and residents have signed up to build scarecrows, which will be distributed throughout the village. Participants will then try and find them.
However, one scarecrow modelled after Star Wars’ Jedi gone bad Darth Vader has already gone missing, and the parent council are appealing to people to help bring it home in time for the festival.
The scarecrow was made in a garden on Luncarty’s main road and was last seen on Saturday afternoon.
