More than 9,000 race-goers descended on Scone at the weekend, giving Perth Racecourse its largest crowd of the year.
The annual charity Carnival Day on Saturday enjoyed fine weather and saw crowds donating thousands of pounds to the STV appeal.
The money raised will help vulnerable children and young people all over Scotland affected by poverty. This was the fourth year the race day has been harnessed to support the charity.
Many visitors dressed up and a samba band added to the atmosphere.
On the course, the seven jump races featured some of the country’s top jockeys and horses.
“This was our only Saturday fixture of the season and we attracted fantastic entries from throughout Britain and Ireland,” general manager Sam Morshead said.
