Funeral on Friday for Glenrothes man Wayne ‘Bagsy’ Fleming

The funeral of a Glenrothes man whose body was found in a town park will take place on Friday.

The remains of Wayne Fleming, 39, were discovered in undergrowth in Riverside Park in August.

Known locally as “Bagsy”, he had been missing since either February or March, though reports of his disappearance only emerged at the beginning of July.

Mr Fleming’s body was discovered by a group of youngsters in a patch of woodland near the River Leven.

Though the cause of Mr Fleming’s death has never been made public, Police Scotland has confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances.
