A soldier from Botswana will stand trial accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Perth nightclub while on holiday in Scotland.
Bushy Ntebele, 33, of no fixed abode, denies committing the assaults in Loft Nightclub, Perth, on December 20 last year.
He pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a woman by putting his hand up her skirt and touching her bottom. He also denied sexually assaulting another woman by repeatedly touching her bottom.
Depute fiscal Carol Whyte told the court that Ntebele was in Botswana, where he was supporting his family financially, and could only afford one flight to Scotland.
An intermediate diet was set for June 18, for which Ntebele was excused, and trial scheduled for July 6.
