ByThe Courier Reporter
A cyclist is being treated in intensive care with a head injury after an accident involving a bus on the outskirts of Perth.
The 51-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital on Monday after the incident at around 5pm near the junction of the A9 Perth to Inverness road and Inveralmond Place, just north of the Inveralmond roundabout.
The bus was on its way to Edinburgh having travelled down from Inverness.
The man sustained a head injury and was in intensive care where his condition was said to be serious but stable.
A police spokesman said: “The 51-year-old male driver of the bus and his 19 passengers have all been interviewed, but officers also want to speak to anyone else who was in the area at the time, as they may have information that is useful to inquiries.”
Anyone who has information on the incident should phone Police Scotland on 101.
