A man has been taken to hospital after a shooting at a flat in Glasgow.
The incident happened in the early hours of Monday at a property in the Knightswood area.
The 32-year-old was said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
A police investigation is now under way.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Around 1.30am on Monday December 28, police were called to a report of a man having been injured within a flat in Keal Avenue, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and a 32-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Inquiries are at an early stage to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101.”
