Family of woman killed crossing Dundee road launch legal action
ByThe Courier Reporter
The family of a woman who was killed as she crossed a road in Dundee is taking legal action against the man they believe was driving the car.
Linda Crosbie, 44, of Monifieth, died after suffering head injuries in the accident in Riverside Drive in 2010.
Lawyers Digby Brown have raised an action against Ewan Campbell Robertson on behalf of Linda Crosbie’s relatives.
They have also begun proceedings on behalf of Ballumbie man Barrie Alexander, who broke his neck in the same accident.
He is seeking around £100,000 in damages after being off work for three months and unable to drive for six months.
Ms Crosbie, pictured, and Mr Alexander had been dropped off by a coach at Discovery Quay after attending a wedding in Fife when the collision took place.
The Crown concluded in 2011 that there would be no criminal proceedings in the case.
