Dundee United reject suspension offer issued to Nadir Ciftci

Dundee United have rejected the fixed two-match suspension that was offered to striker Nadir Cifti by the SFA.
The governing body issued a notice of complaint against the Tannadice frontman for alleged violent conduct during Sunday’s tempestuous Scottish Cup quarter-final against Celtic.
The accusation against the Turk is that he “deliberately kicked an opposing player, Scott Brown of Celtic FC, upon the head.”
A club statement read: “Dundee United confirms that it has declined the fixed suspension offer in relation to the notice of complaint issued to Nadir Ciftci following an alleged breach of disciplinary rule 200 at the Dundee United v Celtic game on Sunday, 8th March 2015. Nadir will appear at Hampden to put his case on Thursday and the club will fully support him in this appeal.”
