Guardbridge residents are being asked to have their say on plans for an “edible path” in the village.
Fife Council allotments officer Peter Duncan, along with Guardbridge Primary School and the local community council, plan to introduce fruit bushes and trees along the disused railway track which runs north from Kinnear Court.
A public consultation is being held in the primary school on Thursday November 28 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Mr Duncan said: “This proposed project would include fruit bushes and trees, and we are also looking at installing bird boxes.
“The project is being supported by the school and the community council. Representatives from both organisations along with myself will be available to answer any questions you may have.
“This proposal is being viewed very much as a project for the community as a whole to become involved with.”
Local councillor Tim Brett said: “I hope there will be a positive response from the community.”
