Dundonians and visitors will be able to stroll through the West End’s cultural past now a walking guide has been published.
Dundee Rotary Club members Robert Burns and Jim Patrick teamed up with Professor Charles McKean and council officer John Whyman for the project.
Mr Burns said: “Nothing like it has ever been produced before. We wanted to make people aware of the great history we have in the city.”
Lord Provost Bob Duncan attended Wednesday’s launch at Magdalen Green bandstand, one of the area’s most recognisable sites.
The first print run of 10,000 leaflets is the second in a small series after a city centre guide was produced last year.
Sponsored by Dundee University, which took 2,000 for new students, the guide is available from council offices, libraries and from supporting business along the Perth Road.
