At least eight people are dead after a man opened fire in a restaurant in the Czech Republic. Patrik Kuncar, mayor of the south eastern town of Uherske Brod, said the gunman, aged around 60, was among the dead. The town is located 185 miles south east of Prague. Interior minister Milan Chovanec is heading by helicopter to the town of 17,000where he will hold a news conference.
