The leading lady behind the 2015 Dundee Literary Festival has promised the “most diverse” line-up to date, with a host of big names taking part.
Award-winning authors, new talent and some of the comics industry’s biggest names will rub shoulders with a string-vest sporting street philosopher, a show-stopping baker and an unlikely zombie slayer.
And programme manager Peggy Hughes believes those star turns will cement the festival as a major player on the national literary calendar.
Between October 21 and 25, the city will play host to 46 talks, readings, workshops and other events including appearances by Rab C Nesbitt star, Gregor Fisher and actor, actor and writer Nick Frost.
