A Dundee couple have built themselves a new home in just three days.
Robert and Margaret McVean have had their home transformed from flat foundations to a futuristic structure, which will see their heating bills fall, in only a matter of days.
The house, which cost £350,000, was shipped over from Germany in pieces before being assembled on the Norwood Crescent site.
“I’m not sure when we first heard of it, but we started the plans about this time last year,” said Mr McVean, an electrical engineer.
“Our view is that energy costs are not going to diminish the fact that this house is more efficient is a large factor.
“It’s been exciting watching it go up, the speed of it, but we were expecting that.”
The couple went to Germany to choose the materials and to see it being manufactured.
