Dundee United goal hero Scott Fraser may start against Hamilton

Dundee United goal hero Scott Fraser may just have fired himself into contention for a starting place against Hamilton Accies.
The 20-year-old midfielder came off the bench to shoot the Tangerines into the quarter-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup with a wonderful winning goal against Partick Thisle last weekend.
Fraser had to be content with a substitute’s role for the Jags game, with manager Mixu Paatelainen choosing to pick the same starting 11 as lined up for the terrific league win over Kilmarnock.
Now, though, Paatelainen admitted that he will give Fraser serious consideration for the crucial Premiership clash at New Douglas Park tomorrow.
The United boss said: “Scott is a fantastic footballer.
“Skill-wise and when it comes to beating men he is as good as anyone in our squad.
“This is his first season in the team but he is a quality player who can make things happen.
“He has not started the last couple of games but he came off the bench to score a very good goal against Partick.
“He is always in our thoughts and that is the case for Saturday.”
