Nicholas Grant, 33, of Blairgowrie Road, Dunkeld, will appear for sentence at Perth Sheriff Court on February 18.
He admitted that on November 10 at Parmelia Court, Perth, he assaulted his former partner by punching and slapping her on the head.
Meanwhile Stephen Robertson, 21, of no fixed address, will stand trial at court on April 15.
He denied a charge that on April 19 2014, at Newhouse Road, Perth, he assaulted a woman by repeatedly punching her on the head.
He also pleaded not guilty to a separate charge that on the same date and location, he repeatedly kicked over bins and kicked at a car, causing damage to it.
