Youngsters seen near site of major blaze at Perthshire farm

Teenage firebugs may have started a fire which destroyed around £10,000 of straw at a Perthshire farm.
Firefighters were called to Kilgraston Mains Farm, near Bridge of Earn, in the early hours of Saturday and spent more than 24 hours dealing with the blaze, which was contained within a barn.
Police are now investigating the fire and are keen to identify a group of youths who were seen nearby the previous evening.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for information following a fire within a barn at a Mains of Kilgraston farm near Bridge of Earn, Perthshire that happened at around 3.30am on Saturday, September 5.
“More than three hundred straw bales valued at around £10,000 were destroyed in the incident.
“Police are keen to trace and identify a group of 10-12 youths who were seen in a field nearby at around 8pm on Friday evening.”
