Heavy snowfall caused problems for drivers across Tayside on Sunday with conditions particularly treacherous on the A9 at Drumochter.
The blanket of snow caused “major issues” on the roads, according to Police Scotland.
A spokesman for the force said there had been a number of minor collisions across Tayside.
There were no serious injuries.
Perth and Kinross was worse affected by the wintry conditions on Sunday.
The Met Office issued a yellow “be alert” weather warning for snow across Tayside and Fife, which will remain in effect until at least 10am on Monday.
A spokesman said:”Please be aware of the need to take extra care and allow more time for travel, but also keep up to date with any further updates to this warning.
“The southern limit of the more widespread snow is particularly uncertain.
“Wintry showers will continue across much of Scotland on Sunday and overnight into Monday.
“To complicate matters, an area of low pressure is expected to track across Southern Scotland, with the risk of more widespread sleet or snow to the north of the low centre for a few hours.
“The most likely areas to be affected by this more widespread snow would be Argyll, west Dunbartonshire, Stirlingshire, Clackmannanshire, Fife, Perth and Kinross and Angus.”
Traffic Scotland warned conditions would be particularly hazardous overnight on Sunday and on Monday morning when there will be a greater risk of ice on the roads.
