Rhythm & Brews will take hold in Montrose as the town holds a new beer festival. The Town Hall will host the first MoFest beer festival Rhythm & Brews, from Thursday to Saturday March 3-5, in association with Burnside Brewery. Beers will feature from breweries including Burnside, 6 Deg North, Deeside, Eden, Lerwick, Lions Lair, Loch Ness, Mor, Windswept and more. Local singer/songwriter Rhona MacFarlane will open the Friday session followed by Georgia Crawl. Saturday which is split into two sessions will be opened by local brother and sister duo Kith and Kin before Boogalusa close the afternoon set. Saturday evening will start with A Right Couple of Charlie’s before The KJB play soul music from the 1960s and 1970s. They will also be available from Burnside Brewery shop in Laurencekirk or on the door.
