A pensioner has been charged with attacking a child at a Dundee secondary school.
The 67-year-old woman is accused of repeatedly punching the child on the head at a city school, which cannot be named for legal reasons.
It’s claimed the child was pushed against a fence before the attack took place.
Isabella Myles, of Hoylake Place, Dundee, appeared at the sheriff court to face one charge of assault.
She denies carrying out the attack by seizing the child by the clothing, pushing the child against a fence, holding the child there and repeatedly punching the child on the head.
The incident is alleged to have taken place on November 3 last year on the premises of the school.
A trial date was set for April 12, with an intermediate diet to take place on March 23.
A council spokesman said: “We do not comment on ongoing legal matters.”
