The A92 Lochgelly southbound sliproad will be closed tonight for £53,000 resurfacing work.
The work is only scheduled to take place overnight.
For safety reasons, it will see the closure of the southbound on slip from 7.30pm until 6.30am tomorrow.
During the closure drivers will be diverted from the A92 Lochgelly northbound to the chapel interchange and then diverted back on to the A92 southbound.
BEAR Scotland’s Andy Thompson said: “We’ve scheduled these works to be carried out in one night in order to minimise disruption to motorists as much as possible.
“We would advise motorists to plan ahead with these works by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up to date travel information before their journey.”
