Dundee chairman Bill Colvin has refused to discuss whether manager John Brown’s future at the club was under threat.
The Dark Blues slipped up again on Saturday, conceding a late equaliser against Alloa and have only taken one point out of a possible nine in their last three games.
Brown himself admitted that he was not surprised fans were calling for his head at the end of the game.
However, when Colvin was asked if the manager’s future would be up for discussion at the next regular board meeting, he replied: “No comment.”
The Dens chairman did though admit that the club directors were far from pleased with recent results and performances.
He said: “I was coming back from the States on business so wasn’t at the Alloa game but I have watched a recording of it.
“Obviously it was disappointing to drop two points with the last kick of the game.
“We are not happy with the way the team are playing at the moment, which should come as no surprise.
“We are still joint top but we feel we should be doing better. The players have to take some of the responsibility.
“Hamilton and Falkirk though still have to come to Dens which is a point in our favour and we remain hopeful of going up.”
