Be afraid, be very afraid: Dundead Horror Film Festival promises scares galore

The line-up for Dundee’s annual Dundead Horror Film Festival has been annouced.
The five-day festival will include a UK premiere, a handful of preview screenings as well as number of horror classics ranging from Universal Pictures’ original Frankenstein to Escape from New York.
The event takes place at Dundee Contemorary Arts and starts with a horror film quiz before there is a screening of the 2014 Mary Elizabeth Winstead movie Faults.
There will then be screenings including Let Us Prey, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, The Canal, Spring, Open Windows, which stars Elijah Wood, and kidnap movie The Badger Game, which is receiving its UK permiere.
Among the classic films being screened are Frankenstein and a triple-bill of Kurt Russell movies: Escape From New York, The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China.
The festival starts on April 30 and tickets can be booked from Monday, April 13.
