Police concern for drunk man repaid with stream of urine
ByThe Courier Reporter
A drunk who was offered a lift home by police repaid them by urinating in their vehicle.
Ian Carmichael was found senseless on a street in Perth and worried officers initially fearing he was ill, decided to help take the 30-year-old to safety.
However, after he was placed in the back of the police van Carmichael began kicking out and swearing.
When police reopened the door they saw he was urinating and pulled him back on the street, where he continued to pee.
Yesterday Carmichael, of High Street, Kinross, was found guilty of acting in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting, swearing and urinating in a police vehicle, and failing to desist, on Scott Street, Perth, on July 4 last year.
Sentence was deferred until April 27.
