Former Cowdenbeath keeper Grant Adam has agreed to join Airdrieonians until the end of the season. The 22-year-old left the Fife club last week but has moved quickly to secure a deal with the Diamonds, who are struggling at the foot of League One. Adam is beginning his third loan spell with the club, having twice been there in 2012, after Danny Rodgers’ loan deal from Aberdeen expired. “I am very happy to be back at Airdrie,” Adam said. “Some of my happiest times have been here and while I know things are difficult at present there are a good bunch of guys here.” Cowden fans have been given the chance to meet Jimmy Nicholl at a Meet the Manager event at Wee Jimmies pub at 8.30pm on Thursday. The event is open to all supporters.
