Web of intrigue how did this tarantula end up in Perthshire?

Because, while this hairy horror might look like a trophy from an adventure in a faraway land, it was actually found in the middle of Courier country.

A Perthshire woman stumbled across the terrifying tarantula in her house as she went to put her shoes on in the morning.

In Saturday’s Courier she describes how she thought she was the victim of a practical joke until she had a closer look and realised the spider was very real. (Thankfully, for her, it was also very dead.)
