Walking footballers hold tournament to remember friend Kevin

A walking football tournament has been held in memory of a popular businessman and Dundee FC fan following his tragic death just weeks ago.
Kevin Knox from Broughty Ferry died in his fifties in November, having become well known in the Tayside business community through the Primero Contracts firm he established in 1993 with business partner Fred Ward.
Mr Knox, who was from Aberdeen but educated at Carnoustie High School and Bell Street technical college in Dundee, where he trained as a quantity surveyor, was a dedicated fan of the Dark Blues, with Primero Contracts a major club sponsor for years.
He is survived by his wife Karen and sons Richard, 22, and Andrew, 19.
Mr Knox was also a keen walking footballer and Carnoustie Leisure Centre hosted the recent tournament, involving two teams from Carnoustie Panmure Walking Football Club and two from Links Park Community Trust in Montrose.
The Knox family donated a trophy, won by the LPCT ‘B’ Team.
