Sick internet trolls have set up a fake online tribute page to Dundee teenager Nadine Duffy.
Nadine died last week in Magaluf where she had been working for the summer as a bar rep.
Her friends and family quickly set up a page on Facebook to raise the £10,000 needed to bring her body home.
But now a fake page has been set up, appealing for people to share their memories of Nadine and making false claims about the 19-year-old.
The page sparked a furious reaction from Nadine’s family.
Her sister Shelley posted: “Get this page down now you absolute scumbags!
“I have reported this to the police and I will find out who you are!
“You obviously do not know her so you have no right to use my sister’s name!!!!.
“Get it deleted now.”
One friend posted: “This is absolutely disgusting. Don’t know why anyone would make a fake page and cause even more hurt to this family.
“I have reported this page and asked everyone I know to unlike it and report it as well.”
More friends appealed for Facebook to close the page but their anger sparked the trolls to post sickening comments about Nadine.
The Courier reported the page to Facebook and it appeared to have been removed later on Thursday.
