East Stirling 2 East Fife 0: Naysmith to get tough after Fifers lose again

East Fife’s players will be forced to endure a video nasty of their Ochilview shocker when they return to Bayview this week.
The Methil men were caught well off it on Saturday as they slipped to their second defeat on the bounce in the Central Belt.
Goals either side of the break from Chris Townsley and Kevin Nisbet did the damage as East Stirlingshire cruised to victory.
Boss Gary Naysmith said his men will not be allowed to forget the defeat in a hurry.
He said: “We were miles off the pace and it just felt like waves of attacks.
“We were lucky to be just one goal down at the end of the first half and tried to change things a wee bit to get another two or three players forward.
“But before we know it Sean Dickson has given the ball away and we’ve lost another goal. On Tuesday they’ll be in and we’ll watch the first half of the game because we need to stop it and go through it bit by bit to show them where we went wrong.”
