A joiner has appeared in court in Perth accused of threatening staff at a Pitlochry hotel.
Reece Krausa is alleged to have repeatedly shouted and sworn and uttered threats of violence in MacKay’s Hotel on Sunday.
He is also accused of threatening to damage the premises.
A second charge alleges the 39-year-old behaved in a disorderly manner by refusing to leave the hotel when asked to do so. He denies both charges.
Solicitor Nicky Brown told the court that Krauza, of Manchester Road, Tydesley, had been in Scotland for a festive family visit, but his partner had returned south following an argument.
She added that Krausa was attempting to find overnight accommodation at the time of the alleged incident.
He will stand trial in March.
