American burger chain Five Guys is coming to Dundee.
Having rolled out its first restaurant in Scotland at the end of 2014, the burger giant is keen to open more venues in Scotland and is now recruiting a general manager for an as-yet-unconfirmed Dundee outlet.
Five Guys opened its first UK eatery in London in 2013 and has quickly expanded in the UK, with burger joints in Glasgow’s St Vincent Street, Silverburn and Braehead and Edinburgh’s Fort Kinnaird retail park.
The company posted a job advert for a Dundee general manager on June 2 with a salary between £25,000 and £35,000 p/a.
A Five Guys spokesman said: “We are currently exploring new areas to bring Five Guys to, but there isn’t any news that we can confirm about Dundee at this stage.”
