Dundee pub and club Yuppies is returning to the city. Formerly located on Meadowside, the bar will be re-born in the Seagate and is the brainchild of entrepreneur and Beau nightclub owner Tahir Ramzan. The revamped pub and club is expected to return in around four weeks’ time. Writing on his Facebook page, Mr Ramzan said: “We all remember how great Yuppies was and now it’s back. “For those that don’t know, it was a no-frills party place, playing every classic tune to an amazing crowd. “We have a fantastic central location in the Seagate area, some of you will remember it from years ago as the main site for pub crawls. “This area is slowly becoming the hub for mainstream bars and clubs including Beau nightclub. “Yuppies will do what it did best – play every anthem you can think of from the 70s through to the present day.”
