Todd Lumsden wishes Dick Campbell well at Arbroath
ByThe Courier Reporter
Sacked Arbroath boss Todd Lumsden has wished his replacement Dick Campbell well and hopes that the experienced boss can ensure that the Red Lichties fall on the right side of fine margins.
Lumsden’s 11-month spell in charge of the Gayfield squad ended on Sunday after defeat from Stirling Albion, with the former Albion Rovers man left cursing a number of solitary goal defeats.
He said: “That was the fifth 1-0 loss and the eighth time that we had lost by one goal in the league.
“It was of course disappointing to leave, but Arbroath are a good club and we parted on good terms. I hope Dick manages to get them on the right side of 1-0 wins between now and the end of the season.
“I am not finished with football but will take a couple of months out to help me decide what I want to do next.”
