Tayside fundraisers are flocking to help a young girl suffering from a heartbreaking rare form of cancer.
Kirriemuir five-year-old Lucy Wright was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in January and her parents, James and Emma, have been given a great deal of support since.
A band night, car wash and other events have been organised as the people of Kirrie, Forfar and the surrounding communities rallied round the girl, who has just started school.
Tracey Logan is one of the women who run Gymteds, which helps children and their parents get a little more active.
She said: “We taught Lucy at Gymteds until she took not well just before Christmas.
“We decided to do something for her, and one of the girls I work with is a singer in a band and she organised all the musicians for a band night on October 11.”
