Supreme champion from Wilson Peters: Limousin heifer 592kg £4,700 (£7.93 per kg) to the judge, Jimmy Mulholland. Butchers’ champion from J&S Clark: Limousin steer 550kg for £1,870 (£3.40 per kg) to Andersons, Leith. Reserve butchers’ champion from Wilson Peters: Limousin heifer 702kg for £1,930 (£2.75 per kg) to Wee Hae Meat, Girvan. Aberdeen-Angus champion from George McFadzean, a steer weighing 598kg, for £1,695 (£2.85 per kg) to George Kirk, Denny. Lamb champions from James Whiteford 46.5kg each, sold for £230 each to Wee Hae Meat, Girvan. Lamb reserve champions from Kirsty and Andrew Morton 45kg each, sold for £200 to Jimmy Stark, Bluebell, Milton of Campsie.
