Community wardens were called to Mid Craigie Road on Sunday following reports of a mob of teenagers in the area. The driver’s window of a Lux van that had been parked in the area was broken by a shower of stones around 4pm. That followed an earlier incident when a previously torched caravan was pulled to pieces and scattered across the road. Branches from trees and pieces of masonry were also strewn across the road which leads to the DC Thomson building off the Kingsway. An eyewitness, who asked not to be named, said he had seen a group of at least three male youths fleeing the area. He added: “There was one wearing a red top and another wearing a lighter top. I think they were all boys.”
