Thieves make off with haul of tools from parked van in Dundee

Thieves made off with a quantity of tools from a van parked on Gourdie Street over the weekend.
Equipment including a Hilti nail gun in a red case and red Ryobi cordless drill were stolen from the Ford Fiesta between 5.30pm on Friday and 7.30am on Monday.
A 50-piece socket set in a red box, a green Bosch jigsaw, a grey six-inch angle grinder in a grey box, a quantity of drill bits, a hand lamp, an extension cable and a black and yellow Stanley toolbox were also taken during the raid.
The thieves also took a box of spare parts for lifts, two yellow Memico automatic diallers for use in lifts during emergencies, a green encoder for a lift in a red box, 12 lift push-button service panels and two rolls of six core cable for lifts.
Anyone who knows where the stolen goods are should contact police on 101 or speak to any police officer.
