Mother Rosdeep charged with Mikaeel Kular’s murder

The mother of three-year-old Mikaeel Kular has appeared in court charged with his murder.
Rosdeep Kular, or Adekoya, 33, appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court, where she also faced a charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Mikaeel was reported missing from his Edinburgh home on Thursday, prompting a major search.
His body was later found around 25 miles away in Kirkcaldy.
Rosdeep Adekoya made no plea or declaration and the case was committed for further examination.
Adekoya was remanded in custody.
