Singer-songwriter Dougie MacLean has been left devastated after a rare guitar was stolen from his home.
The musician, who is famous for the tune Caledonia, discovered the instrument was missing on Friday night.
The 1930s four-stringed guitar is of a type not commonly found in Scotland.
MacLean posted: “My precious 1930s Martin tenor (4 stringed) guitar was stolen from my home in Butterstone on Friday night.
“If you see it anywhere or have any details that may be helpful contact me on here or email Jenny on admin@butterstone.com. These guitars are rare in Scotland so it should be easily identified. Cheers!!”
