AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH (but in a good way).
The kind of treatment once reserved for hit parade sensations The Beatles was meted out for crooning fireman Stevie McCrorie on Monday.
People were swooning left, right and indeed centre as the Voice hopeful returned home to Clackmannanshire and Fife.
As you may very well imagine, The Courier was with him on every step of the magnificent journey.
It was rather overwhelming for young Mr McCrorie, who I must say comes across as an absolutely charming gentleman. A credit to his family and such like.
You too can scream “Go Stevie” in retrospect as you pour over our knock-out, award-winning (potentially) coverage.
Meanwhile, BAAAANG (in a sort of good way if you like that kind of thing).
There was collective fever of a very different type elsewhere as the starting gun on the general election campaign was officially fired (see the above onomatopoeic word).
Politicians were falling over themselves (sadly not literally) to promise the earth come (or rather in the aftermath of) May 7.
Jolly interesting for political types, such as our very own political editor Kieran Andrews, who spent his day patiently listening to all the pledges and guarantees before distilling them into bite-size tales ready for your consumption.
Easter.
A lovely holiday.
But what’s this?
It’s going to be cold. Not just cold either, freezing.
Most disappointing.
We reflect on a sombre weather warning from the Met Office.
