Montrose Sailing Club rounded off the season by hosting the annual North East Scotland Sailing Regatta.

The competition was open to juniors aged eight to 16 who have been sailing for one or two seasons and 11 boats competed.

Peterhead Sailing Club members took first and second with Iona Helyer winning the event followed by Magnus Dixon. Euan Clark from Montrose SC was third and team-mates Morven and Orla McLeod won the Endeavour Trophy.

The final events of the season are the trophy night dinner in the George Hotel on November 8 and the annual meeting on November 14 in the clubhouse.
