Girls aged 11 and under invited to join Dundee East football team

Woman’s football is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and, with a new season just around the corner, a Dundee team is urging youngsters to take up the beautiful game.

Dundee East U11 girls’ team is on the look-out for new members.

The team trains on a Saturday morning from 11.15am to 12.15pm on the state-of-the-art synthetic pitch at Whitton Park, jut off Arbroath Road.

“A new season for the under-11s starts in March so it would be a great time to come and try a couple of coaching sessions no experience required,” explained team coach Dave Lord.
